Everyone here is super friendly and great at recommendations. The spicy beef is my absolute favorite! But everything else is good too. Tip is to buy by the dozen for better pricing. They also have other international foods for sale I've tried a bunch and it always good. Limited street parking, but available if you don't mind a little walk. I've ordered up to 250 for my work events and everything is packaged well and stays warm.

The absolute best place to get your empanadas in South Bay! Our tango dancers (and I put on regular tango dance events) are absolutely addicted to these scrumptious treats. We simply can't dance without them, and have been enjoying these for the last eight years 'cause we can't get enough. Thank you, Continental Gourmet! Special thank you to the owner Sergio Mortara, the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

I ordered a 12 pack of empanadas (take out). The customer service was very good, the person actually advised me to purchase the 12 pack because it was the same price as the individual I had ordered. The Empanadas were packaged well and tasted fresh and good. The store had a few other items available for purchase but no seating.

We have ordered from here several times before. My wife, who is an LA native remembers eating at the Gardena location on Marine Ave. as a kid. We usually order the famous empanada(s) they are easy to recognize from the *stamped initials idicating flavors. The Gardena location has more menu, other items, and all locations are stores selling authentic Latin ingredients/staples. The staff are always friendly and willing to answer any questions that you may have. I really like these original and authentic empanada. The only thing that has changed, because of inflation, is the prices and the limited amount of filling in each empanada. Now you are paying more for less. I feel they should make them smaller so there isn't a mismatch from the dough to filling ratio. This time, we ordered spicy beef and chicken, beef ham and cheese, and the pomodor. They have a couple of veggie options as well, mushrooms, or spinach. We have had these, too, in the past. I definitely think now that there are probably better places or empanada stores out there. I will have to search and try them.

Empanada Time! Been coming here for years. It's been quite some time but I'm not disappointed. Parking is limited to street parking so I had to park a block away but it was worth it. Empanadas are the best. My go to is Spinach but I hear the Spicy Beef and Spicy Chicken are good. I go some Pomo this time too. The market also stocks many groceries from Latin America, South America and Spain, for those cooking authentic dishes. I'm going to enjoy my empanadas now. Ok, bye.

First Impressions: N/A my sister and I ordered pick up and to go The Noms: *Spicy Beef Empanada - my favorite, perfect balance of spice and spiciness. Probably my favorite of the bunch *Ham + Cheese Empanada - good but reminded me of a drier hot pocket *Pepperoni Empanada - delicious, reminded me of a fancier version of a pepperoni pizza hot pocket *Spicy Chicken Empanada - dry, I didn't like this one at all *Spinach Empanada - surprisingly, I really enjoyed this one. Perfect amount of cheesiness and the spinach made it feel and taste healthier In Conclusion: Meh... I wanted to like it, and the spot came highly recommended... but I wasn't super impressed and likely won't be back to try any of the other flavors
